Discover the benefits of real mushrooms - This is the Four Leaf Rover Immunity Organic Mushroom Blend.
While other mushrooms products are mycelium (a lab-grown fungus that's only part of a mushroom), Four Leaf Rover mushrooms contain the fruiting body and the mycelium, which gives the end product a rich, dark brown colour.
Mycelium is grown on grains like oats, sorghum or rice, not on wood where mushrooms would grow in nature. Mycelium products contain significantly lower levels of valuable beta-glucan, the active medicinal compound in mushrooms. Your dog deserves Four Leaf Rover's REAL mushrooms ... grown the way nature intended and complete with all their health-boosting properties.

Turkey tail is a mushroom that grows on dead logs all around the world. Its Latin name is Trametes Versicolor or Coriolus Versicolor. Versicolor means of many colours. And that’s because turkey tail has coloured rings that look a lot like the tail of a turkey. In Japan, Turkey Tail is called Kawaratake, which means cloud mushroom. There are quite a few strains of Trametes, but turkey tail, in particular, is of interest to scientists and herbalists.
Turkey tail is well researched for its ability to balance gut bacteria and has been used in Chinese medicine for centuries to reduce phlegm, clear dampness, increase energy, and boost the immune system. In traditional Chinese medicine, it’s called Yun Zhi.
Chaga grows naturally on birch trees. That's why we grow our Chaga mushrooms sustainably, on native materials. It contains a wide variety of vitamins and minerals. Research suggests Chaga may be able to help regulate and boost the production of cytokines. Cytokines are essential to the immune system and a good immune system can help fight off infection and disease.
Cordyceps are full of antioxidants and are known to help boost physical performance and may support a healthy heart. It is traditionally used for fatigue after prolonged illness because of its ability to help support normal stamina and endurance.
There's a lot of research in Korea showing Phellinus is a potent immune-modulating mushroom. It can stimulate the immune system and protect the body against illness. It also supports normal detoxification processes in animals.
The beta-glucans in Maitake have been extensively researched as potent immune system enhancers.
Scientists have been researching Reishi since the 1970s. Its highly active beta-glucans can activate the immune system benefiting dogs with sickness, stress, and infections.
The highly active beta-glucans in Shiitake can help repair leaky gut, activate the immune system, and support sick or stressed dogs.
Why are most mushroom products not really mushrooms?
Mushrooms contain a fruiting body (the part of the mushroom you'd recognize) and mycelium - the part that grows underground or inside the plant. Think of the mycelium as the roots of the mushroom. Nearly all mushroom products are mycelium, not the actual mushroom. They're grown in a lab on sterilized grains (such as rice, sorghum, or oats) and ground into a powder. If you're buying a mycelium product, you're not getting the beta-glucan rich content of the fruiting body. Beta-glucans are the active compounds in mushrooms. Fruiting bodies are full-spectrum and also offer more vitamins and minerals. Without them, you're not getting a real mushroom and your dog is not getting all of the health benefits.
How are Four Leaf Rover mushrooms grown?
Our mushrooms are grown on wood, just as they would in nature. This guarantees that the medicinal compounds will be in the mushrooms. They're grown in greenhouses with a constant flow of fresh air and water, along with natural sunlight. After harvesting, every mushroom is tested for chemicals and contamination.
Why are your mushrooms water extracted and not dried?
Fruiting bodies require hot water extraction to break down the chitin in the cell walls. Dogs and humans lack the enzyme to do this, so extraction is necessary to get all the nutrients from the fruiting body. Extraction pulls out the beta-glucans. The extraction is then purified and dried into a powder with all the beneficial mushroom parts intact.
How can I be sure your mushrooms are of high quality?
Every batch of mushrooms is checked for bacteria, heavy metals, and pesticides. The mushroom extracts are then tested for beta-glucan content to make sure the mushrooms are truly medicinal. Our mushrooms are certified organic, and free from heavy metals and pesticides. No mycelium, no grains, and no starch, ever.
Can I give my dog mushrooms more than once a day?
If your dog doesn't have any health challenges, once a day should be enough. But if your dog is fighting an illness, you can give mushrooms twice daily.
Can I give Four Leaf Rover Turkey Tail with the Immunity Mushroom Blend?
While the Immunity 7 Mushroom Blend contains Turkey Tail mushroom, you can add Turkey Tail once or twice daily for additional immune benefits.
