How to put on WagWellies
Getting a dog used to wearing boots is a process. It is very normal to see an amusing high-step in the beginning. This is because they can’t feel the floor and it throws off their coordination. They need time to re-coordinate themselves. It may even take getting them outside and on with the walk before they start to realize that they can in fact walk and run as usual.
Well-fitting wellies will not fall off easily and paws will be flat on the ground when walking
For dogs with dewclaws, make sure that they are sitting comfortably inside the wellies or in between the slits. Ensure that nothing is rubbing against them that may cause abrasion
When first using the wellies, keep the walks short (15-20 min) to help your pup get comfortable in their new wellies. In the event of abrasion, you can also spot it early and readjust accordingly
Trying and exchange
Your pup is welcome to come try out the Wagwellies sizes at our home office in Punggol. Just chat with us to make an appointment.
You can also come by to exchange the size as long as the wellies are as good as new, free of fur, and back in their original packaging. Hence, we recommend trying just one first at home. Usually, you can tell if the wellies don't fit just by trying one of them.
Colour bleeding sometimes happen and would be more obvious on a white coat. Do handwash the wellies with a mild soap before use (do not soak) and air dry before use.
*We try our best to keep product information and images up to date but take note that they only serve as a guide. Colours may vary depending on your screen. While it doesn't happen often, changes by manufacturers may take some time to reflect on our site. When in doubt, chat with us!

We’ve tried a couple of other pet shoe brands but none are a better fit and quality than the Wagwellies. The wellies have a decent grip on its soles and velcros well, which allow Muffles to walk and run wonderfully in them. At first thought, you’d think they are a tad pricey but definitely worth every penny.

Been searching online for ideal dog shoes for my 5 month cockapoo and I must say Waggies was a great choice! Fits well, my pup walks fine outside while protecting against dirt on his paws. Pricey but quality is well worth its price.
Thanks for sharing, Natalie!

Personally really love the boot and that lovely pop of orange on my pup’s feet + great for rainy days. But some water can still can get into the boot + wet paw from them sweating! Still a great protection for their paws!

It doesn't just look cute, it's also super functional and well made! The slits make it easy for mama to get my huge paws in, and once I'm strapped it....there's no way I could get it off (much to my dismay). I took awhile to get used to not feeling my paws, but nothing that a little bit of practice and distraction can't solve! Soon I was running up and down the stairs, across the muddy fields and into puddles! It was refreshing and liberating to do that! Mama wished she had a pair too, but her paws are so much easier to clean and doesn't she already own a bunch of shoes?! I'm just glad I didn't have to head to the showers after a muddy walk! Thank you Vanillapup for bringing it in!
Always looking so amazinggggg, Odin! Latte can twin with you soon!
